The prerequisites are the same as those for 151. For 151A the prerequisite is Math 150 (C- or better) or satisfactory score on the mathematics placement test.

Description
Chapters 1, 2, 3, and 4. Topics include rational, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions, and the concept, computation and applications of derivatives, L'Hopital's Rule.
