PrerequisitesMath 110 and 111 Description
Mathematical Goals: Historical development of concepts appropriate to middle childhood mathematics. A capstone course to bring together topics discussed in Math 108, 109, 110, 111, and Statistics 145. The general goal of this course is to prepare you to become teachers of middle school students. Knowing the mathematics for yourself is not the same as knowing the math for teaching. To that end, we emphasize explanations of mathematical ideas. Credits
