Dear Friends and Colleagues,

I am delighted to inform you that Judie Monson has been selected to receive one of the university's 2003 Distinguished Staff Awards.

Truly, it is hard to express how much Judie M. (and Judy B. and Diana, her partners in crime at the Math Counseling Office!) adds to the lives of students and faculty alike. Suffice it to say that the list of offical duties, and the even longer list of self-imposed duties, undertaken by Judie boggles the mind. As anyone who has worked with her can attest, Judy's primary considerations are the welfare of students and the long-term health and reputation of The Ohio State University. For my part, I consider it a privilege to work with her.

Judie, we're absolutely delighted! Please accept our sincerest congratulations.
