I'm very pleased to announce that Vitaly Bergelson has been named the recipient of the 2004 Colleges of the Arts and Sciences Honors Faculty Service Award.

The citation reads in part that Vitaly's service was judged "to be truly exemplary to students in the Colleges of the Arts and Sciences...It is faculty such as yourself who make excellence a way of life at this University..."

Congratulations, Vitaly, for helping to make the Mathematics Honors program one of the best Honors programs on campus.
