I'm delighted to announce that Mr. Michael Chmutov, a junior majoring in mathematics and physics, has been awarded a prestigious Goldwater Scholarship.

Another student, Mr. Greg Kestin, a sophomore also majoring in mathematics and physics, was awarded an Honorable Mention.

The national competetion for the Goldwater is very tough so please join me in congratulating Michael and Greg on this wonderful recognition.
