Vaidy Sivaraman wins Graduate Associate Teaching Award

On Wednesday, April 11, Vaidy Sivaraman was surprised in his classroom by a group of Graduate School and Math Department representatives who presented him with the "2007 Graduate Associate Teaching Award."

According to the Graduate School, "The Graduate Associate Teaching Award is the university's highest recognition of the exceptional teaching provided by graduate students at Ohio State." Vaidy is only one of ten OSU GTAs to be honored with this University-wide award. OSU has approximately 2500 GTAs, so the award is truly exceptional.

Along with a letter of recognition from the Dean of the Graduate School, Vaidy will also receive a plaque and a cash award of $1500 at the Graduate School Spring Awards Reception in May.
