Dear all,

We have come to the end of a long weekend before our exam. I hope you all had a chance to relax and enjoy the fireworks.

Last week, we started an important project. As you all know, we have started study groups which aimed at helping you learn the subject matter better. the purpose of these groups is simple: STUDY WITH A PERSON WHO IS ON YOUR LEVEL. This is certainly a different level of learning compared to learning from an authority because a student assumes that everything that is told by an instructor is true while this cannot be done in a study group. Here are your guidelines:

1. Question your friends response to your questions. After all, there is a good chance s/he is wrong.

2. Get together to discuss the subject matter not to copy each other’s solutions.

3. Make sure that you ask me about the things that you are both confused. you don’t want to learn something wrong.

4. Even if this is a group study, I highly suggest you to do your self-study before and after you meet. this will help you have a more fruitful discussion.

DO NOT FORGET! Our first exam is on Friday!!!!

Best of luck!
