Conference 4th-5th December

I am co-organizer for a conference to be held over the weekend of 4th-5th December. The conference homepage is here.

Teaching

My office hours for Fall 2010 are M, W, F 12:30-1:18. For further details see My other page, which also lists some other stuff and has a photo of me.

In Fall 2010, I am teaching 151.01 Calculus, as part of a `Technology Enhanced Lectures' pilot scheme.

I am also teaching Topology 860, but I probably won't make a web page for this course.

In Fall 2009, I taught Topology 655, but I didn't make a web page for it.

In Winter 2010 I taught 152.02 Calculus.

For 2008-2009 I was on leave visiting Bristol, UK.

Research

Here is a link to copies of all of my papers on Dave Benson's preprint archive.

Here is a link to Mathematical Reviews of my papers. You can only view this from an institution that subscribes to Mathematical Reviews.

Here is a pdf version of a list of my papers, in the order that they were completed (rather than the order of publication).

Here is a pdf version of a list of all the research talks that I have given.

Here is a pdf version of a list of all of my coauthors. The numbers after the names indicate which paper(s) they cowrote with me.

Editing

I am an editorial adviser for the Bulletin, Journal and Proceedings of the London Mathematical Society. At the time of updating this page (middle of September 2010), I have finished handling 135 papers for the LMS, and I have about 25 papers that are currently in the pipeline. Of the 135, two were transferred to other advisers, two were withdrawn by the authors, 59 were accepted by the LMS, and 77 were rejected by the LMS.

I am a member of the editorial board for Publicacions Matematiques. At the time of updating this page (middle of September 2010) I have finished handling five papers for Pub. Mat., four of which were accepted.

With Martin Bridson and Peter Kropholler I have edited the proceedings of a 2003 Durham Symposium. This was published in 2009 as Volume 358 in the London Mathematical Society Lecture Notes series.
